the unfinished exhibition was originally curated for the spanish pavilion at the venice international architecture biennale 2016. the exhibition’s goal is to take a look at unfinished architecture in order to discover virtues that can be turned into design strategies. during the past period of economic growth in spain, construction became the main driving force behind the economy.  today we find the presence of the unfinished remains of the largest constructional undertaking in history, which left behind an awkward layout and large, partially built, and unconsolidated structures. unfinished sets out to explore creative speculations on converting a past condition into positive contemporary action.
